Description
Cannock Chase District Council was awarded monies from the UK Shared Prosperity Funding (UKSPF) by Government in December 2022 to deliver the Council's agreed UKSPF Investment Plan from 2022 to March 2025. Part of the Council's Investment Plan for the fund's included a People and Skill's priority that identified the need to support young people in the District's High Schools to raise their aspirations and empower students to make informed decisions about their subject choices and future careers. In these times of rapid technology and cultural changes young people, more than ever, need specialised support to make informed choices about future careers. This project creates benefits for young people who are at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education Employment or Training) or who are facing education challenges and represents a truly inclusive approach to achieving the UKSPF Investment Plan aims in Cannock Chase.
