Description
The Authority invites suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to enter into a Framework agreement (Framework) for the delivery of its Scaffolding requirements (the Works) The Framework arrangement will consist of an initial term (period) of 2 years, with 2 further option(s) to extend up to 12 months each at the sole discretion of the Authority. This Framework Contract will ensure availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the Planned and Responsive Works requiring differing values and complexities as required for the Framework Contract. Successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract. Essential accreditations include full NASC membership, Advanced Scaffolders CISRS card and have as a minimum five years practical experience for all scaffold supervisors. It is intended that there will be either : 2 lots on the Framework: Planned Works (Lot 1) and Responsive Works (Lot 2) (including Housing and Commercial Buildings) 1 Lot, with no division of Lots providing the full service (lot 1 and Lot 2) with one overarching framework arrangement, Lo…
