Description

As part of the UK Government's Levelling Up agenda, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly (CIoS) have been allocated £132m for local investment through the Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF). We will use these funds to invest in Good Growth across CIoS that will make our economy more equal, resilient and prosperous and through this investment we aim to realise the potential of all of CIoS's communities and all our residents. This money will invest in three priorities: Community and Place; Supporting Local Businesses and People and Skills. The primary goal of the SPF is to build pride in place and increase life chances across the UK by: a. Boosting productivity, pay, jobs and living standards by growing the private sector b. Spreading opportunities and improve public services c. Restoring a sense of community, local pride and belonging d. Empowering local leaders and communities.
