Description
This is a national framework for the provision of Insulin Pumps, Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM), associated diabetes consumables and tech. The framework will be managed by NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services (hosted by the Velindre NHS Trust) “NWSSP” on behalf of the following Organisations, who shall enter into the Agreement: Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, Cardiff & Vale University Health Board, Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, Hywel Dda University Health Board, and Swansea Bay University Health Board. The framework will provide nationally contracted pricing and enable NHS Wales to harness improved pricing should Participating Organisations look to utilise commercial offers levied by framework suppliers. Bidders should note that the requirement for Lot 2 (CGM) is for procured product (not prescribed) i.e. the product can be procured and prescribed but it must be available via the procured route.
