Description
The appointment a regeneration partner for Castleford that has the capacity, and a commercial skill set complement the existing Regeneration Team. The appointed partner will work with the Council, with the support of public sector regeneration partners such as Homes England and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA). The partner will also have the ability to utilise their commercial expertise to identify and influence the development and delivery of the long-term growth and regeneration opportunities that Castleford has to offer. Wakefield Council is seeking to appoint a Strategic Regeneration Partner (SRP) to support the delivery of a transformational long-term, 10-15 year place-based housing and economic growth regeneration programme for Castleford. The SRP will have commercial expertise, capacity, a track record of delivery, and innovation to help realise the Council's vision of transforming Castleford into a vibrant, sustainable, and distinctive riverside market town.
