Description

The Trust is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Architect, who will also undertake the role of Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD) under the Building Safety Act 2022, to provide full professional services for the replacement of an existing MRI scanner at St Helier Hospital. The commission shall encompass RIBA Stages 2-7 and include, but not be limited to, the development of the architectural design, multidisciplinary design coordination, Building Regulations Principal Designer duties, statutory approvals, stakeholder engagement, tender support, contract administration (where instructed), construction phase support and project close-out. The project involves the replacement of an existing MRI scanner within a live acute healthcare environment and is anticipated to include significant enabling and alteration works, including: Removal and replacement of the existing MRI scanner. Temporary and permanent removal and reinstatement of sections of the external façade to facilitate equipment installation.
