Description
The City Corporation is looking to appoint up to three catering providers to run catering services in the Barbican Centre. The Contract will be divided into three (3) Lots: Lot 1: Hospitality and Events Lot 2: Level G restaurant and foyer cafes Lot 3: Level 1 restaurant The duration of the contract is five (5) years, subject to the right of the City Corporation (at its sole discretion) to exercise its right to extend the Contract by up to two (2) years. The maximum length of the contract is therefore seven (7) years. Summary of requirements: Lot1: Food and Beverage delivery only. Catering associated with events including the Barbican internal hospitality breaks down approximately: Day time conference: 70% Events evening/weekend with no associated meeting or conference: 25% Other (discounted including Barbican internal hospitality):5% Lot2: Level G assisted service restaurant attracting a consistent destination customer group made up of staff, local workers and residents and is populated by these users throughout the day for social occasions, meetings and as an outlet for take away service.
