The Scottish Government (SG), on behalf of the Scottish Ministers, is seeking to commission a contractor to undertake the analysis of responses to the public consultation on the draft Circular Economy Strategy.This is the first draft circular economy strategy developed following the passage of the Circular Economy (Scotland) Act 2024. It will set out the rationale and benefits of a more circular economy within the wider economic framework and describes our overall vision to 2045 and the outcomes that we are working towards.The strategy is intended to provide a high-level framework for Scotland’s transition to a circular economy, setting out a broad vision and outcomes as well as objectives, our governance arrangements and plans for monitoring and evaluating both the Strategy itself and the growth of Scotland’s Circular Economy via a Circular Economy Monitoring and Impact Framework (CEMIF).The draft strategy aims to ensure that everyone, including children and young people can enjoy the life-supporting benefits the environment provides.
