Description
The Scottish Government is progressing with a flagship change programme to improve the performance and efficiency of how corporate shared services are provided to core Scottish Government and other public bodies in Scotland.With significant multi-year investment in technology planned, the corporate shared services programme will deploy the solutions and platforms required to enable operational and cultural change to meet user needs and provide a better customer experience. It has been agreed that the scope of phase one will be to improve the current shared service capability in Finance and HR. This will then provide a foundation for further growth to support the government’s wider vision for shared services and the ability to be a data driven organisation.This role is based in the newly formed Corporate Transformation Directorate. The corporate shared services programme is the initial focus of this role but will widen as the portfolio of corporate transformation programmes expands.
