Description
Southampton City Council ("the Council") invites Tenders from suitably qualified suppliers ("Potential Suppliers") for the provision of Asbestos Removal and Remediation Works. This Procurement is being conducted in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 using the Open Procedure. The "Tender Pack" issued will set out full details of how this procurement will be conducted, including the Specifications, Preliminaries, Form of Contract, Procurement timetable, participation and award criteria, and instructions for submitting a response. Failure to comply with or follow any procedural requirement may result in the exclusion of the Potential Supplier from the Procurement at the Council's sole discretion. The requirement is to establish The Contractor will be required to work on, encapsulate and remove all types of asbestos containing materials including disposal to a licensed disposal facility on domestic and non-domestic housing stock. The work will include making good surfaces on and around where asbestos containing products have been removed for reinstatement by others.
