Description
A flow cytometer is a highly specialized analytical instrument used to rapidly measure and analyse the physical and chemical characteristics of cells or particles suspended in a fluid stream. It enables the detection of cell size, granularity, and fluorescence intensity through the use of lasers and optical detectors. Flow cytometry is essential in a wide range of applications, including immunophenotyping, cell sorting, biomarker detection, and cell cycle analysis, making it a critical tool in research, clinical diagnostics, and biotechnology settings. This procurement aims to acquire a robust and high-performance flow cytometer to support advanced analytical capabilities in line with current and future research or diagnostic needs. The solution will also be procured with a 5 year service agreement and training for staff
