Description

Nottinghamshire County Council (the Council) commissioned a service to provide accommodation and support to Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) which commenced in August 2022. However, the current demand for supported accommodation outweighs existing capacity and therefore the Council is looking to commission additional supported accommodation for USAC.\r \r The Council is seeking to establish a framework of suitable providers who are able to provide additional supported accommodation for UASC against two lots detailed in the service specification.\r \r The UASC service will offer safe accommodation and support to those requiring a planned transition into supported accommodation and to those requiring emergency accommodation further details of the services that will be purchased under the Framework by the Council are as set out in the service specification;\r \r An open multi-provider framework agreement will be put in place which means that during the framework Term the Council may re-open the Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Young People's Supported Accommodation Service tender exercise to run further competitive processes to allow new providers to be appointed to the…
