3811/CYMRU/JS/23 Adaptable Autonomous Agricultural Vehicle (Including Mounted Robot Manipulator Arm) The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for an Adaptable Autonomous Agricultural Vehicle (Including Mounted Robot Manipulator Arm) on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Castings Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire. Scope of Requirement The AMRC Cymru are seeking an adaptable autonomous vehicle (including the supply and integration of a mounted robot manipulator arm) for the Welsh agricultural sector to demonstrate multiple autonomous farming activities such as harvesting, inspecting, irrigation, towing and transporting. The vehicle will need to be capable of navigating through multi-terrain and operational in both indoors (i.e. factory floor, polytunnels, glasshouses) and outdoors (i.e. pasture land, soil, concrete, rocky land).
