Description

Project: Commanders Thermal Optic (CTO) - Contract Bidders Notice to advise the market who has been invited to tender. The Authority intends to place a multi-product, multi-supplier Framework Agreement contract for handheld thermal optics (Long Wave Infra-Red). The possible total contract value is anticipated to be up to £8M ex-VAT (SUBJECT TO CONTRACT) across multiple suppliers. The purpose of this framework is to enable the Authority to flexibly procure the CTO capability for Front Line Commands (FLCs) over the next 7 years dependent on user requirements and funding. It is the Authority's intent for support to be provided via the Surveillance Target Acquisition Support Contract. Potential Providers must be willing to place a sub-contract agreement with the Supplier providing support under the Surveillance Target Acquisition Support Contract. The Authority intends to hold a Contract Bidders' Conference (CBC) to DPQQ down-selected suppliers. This shall include a discussion around Social Value (SV).
