Description
The London Borough of Islington is responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of domestic gas installations within its tenanted housing stock. This includes the annual servicing of all domestic gas boilers, as well as the delivery of planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and the supply and installation of new gas boilers. The council are preparing to procure a new framework for the delivery of domestic gas boiler servicing, repairs, and installations across its housing stock. The framework is proposed to consist of three lots responsible for works within a designated region of the borough. Lot 1: Domestic Gas Boiler Responsive Repairs and Servicing - North The council proposes appointing a single contractor to deliver domestic gas repairs and servicing in the north of the borough, supporting the council’s small in-house gas team who also operate solely in this area. The contractor will provide support particularly during peak demand periods and provide out-of-hours emergency cover.
