Description
Following on from a market engagement webinar held on 15th October 2024 and subsequent feedback received from that event, the Department for Education is seeking feedback from the market so it can understand market interest and capacity to deliver CPD to the 16-19 Level 2 and below English and maths Workforce in Further Education Providers. These providers are delivering the study programmes with large numbers of students that are required to continue studying English and/or maths under the condition of funding. (from hereon in FE providers), on a national or regional basis. This is not a call for competition and does not commit us to launching a competition or running a competition in specific ways, and any future opportunities are subject to funding availability. The quality of the English and Maths workforce across the FE sector is paramount, and the Department continues to work with the sector to ensure that providers can recruit, retain, and develop the teaching and governance staff they need to deliver the best possible education to students.
