VR-Yhtymä Oyj / VR-Group Plc starts with this request for information a market survey concerning freight wagons for VR Group. This is a notice involving only a survey of the market. This notice is not a call for tenders. Replying or failing to reply to this notice does not preclude participation in any procurement procedure. The information given in this notice is preliminary and subject to change as the preparations proceed. The notice is not binding in any way. The notice includes a request for interested parties to send their contact details and technical product information by July 27th 2025 at the latest to atte.s.heikkinen@vr.fi using the subject “RFI – freight wagons”. This market research is only used to obtain information about the freight wagons available on the market. Basic requirements: •Wheelset shall be suitable for Finnish 1524 gauge •Structural gauge should be FIN1 •The operating temperature class should be T2 ( -40…+30 C) •Top speed 100km/h Other information: VR’s existing freight wagon fleet consists of over 8500 wagons.
