Kuvaus
The Tenderer is requested to submit a tender for a fully operational optical profilometer. The instrument will be used for measurements of 3D surface topography of various surfaces independent of the material of the surface. The instrument will be used for measurements of 3D surface topography of various surfaces independent of the material of the surface. The common tests that the instrument shall function for include scanning the topography of the surface under study at different length scales (by using different objectives) and carrying roughness analysis for the obtained topographic images. The operating environment (air and/or liquid medium) should be defined. The most common materials to be studied include metals, semiconductors, plastics, natural fibres, cells and hydrogel materials. The optical profilometer is expected to carry out reliable and accurate measurements to determine the local surface features of materials in question.
