Het betreft de aanschaf van de Thompson set als chirurgisch retractiesysteem ten behoeve van de afdelingen Chirurgie (aandachtsgebieden abdominale, oncologische chirurgie, transplantatiechirurgie, vaatchirurgie, hepatobiliaire chirurgie, kinderchirurgie, traumachirurgie) Urologie, Obstetrie&Gynaecologie. De Thompson set als chirurgische retractiesysteem van KM Innovations (exclusief distributeur van de Thompson Retractoren in de BeNeLux & Frankrijk), kent een aantal unieke eigenschappen, waardoor producten van andere leveranciers niet als redelijk subsituut worden beschouwd. Elite III Rail Clamps De tafelklem is licht van gewicht en zeer makkelijk aan de operatietafel te bevestigen. De aansluiting van de tafelklem op de operatietafel bestaat uit een 3-punten bevestiging waardoor deze stabieler is gepositioneerd in vergelijking met alternatieven. Clip-on Handles De klos met het clip-on systeem is zeer makkelijk op de crossbar of sidearm te plaatsen of te verwijderen. Door gebruik te maken van de klos met het clip-on systeem blijft de tractie op de patiënt continue gewaarborgd.
