De huidige hartlongmachines moeten worden vervangen. Het doel is, om een leveringsovereenkomst af te sluiten met 1 leverancier voor volwassen en kinder hartlongmachines, aangevuld met een SSO voor een periode van 10 jaar (en 1+1 optiejaren), t.b.v. ondersteuning bij openhartoperaties. Daarnaast verwacht het Hartcentrum dat de leverancier een bijdrage kan leveren aan de ambitie van de afdeling om maximale kwaliteit van zorg te leveren voor een redelijke prijs.
