Description
Binnen de afdeling Bijzondere Chemie UMCG draaien momenteel twee APGC-systemen in de routinepatiëntenzorg. Eén daarvan is gekoppeld aan een high-end massaspectrometer uit 2012, die het UMCG nu wil vervangen door een nieuw high-end model. Onderbouwing voor de uitzondering: - De aanwezige APGC (van Waters) is alleen compatibel met een Waters-massaspectrometer. - De bedoeling is dat de APGC wordt geïntegreerd met de aan te schaffen massaspectrometer, zodat het nieuwe systeem en het bestaande systeem elkaar kunnen ondersteunen als back-up voor de routine patiëntenzorg. De APGC (atmospheric pressure gas chromatography) waaraan deze massaspectrometer gekoppeld gaat worden is van Waters en deze is alleen te koppelen met een Waters massaspectrometer (technische compatibiliteit).
