Description
Die ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG (kurz ÖBB-PV AG) setzt seit 1997 die Software HAFAS der Fa. HaCon Ing. GmbH (kurz HaCon) ein. HAFAS ist eine Software für Fahrplaninformationssysteme über das auf Basis des HaCon eigenen HAFAS-Algorithmus Routing- und Fahrplaninformationen von verschiedenen Verkehrsmodi (Bahn, Bus, andere öffentliche Verkehrsmittel) unter Einbeziehung von Echtzeitinformationen errechnet und über verschiedene Kanäle (z.B. Scotty, Ticketshop, etc.) und Ausgabemedien genutzt werden können. Die Software ist properitär aufgebaut, der zu Grunde liegende Sourcecode liegt im Eigentum der Fa. HaCon. Hierdurch ist nur ein Bezug von der Fa. HaCon möglich.
