Upphandlingen omfattar mobila larmenheter med tillhörande tjänster för personer som enligt Säkerhetspolisens bedömning är i behov av skydd. Skyddspersonen ska med den mobila larmenheten ha möjlighet att skicka larm direkt till larmcentral som med hjälp av enhetens GPS-positionering och medhörning snabbt kan lokalisera och undsätta skyddspersonen.
