Uppdraget består av bemanning av Trafikverkets akutlina via telefon utanför kontorstid, för mottagande, registrering och hantering av akuta ärenden inom väg, järnväg och färja. Uppdraget består av följande: Arbetsuppgifter omfattar mottagande av samtal, prioritering av ärenden, registrering i Trafikverkets system, informationsgivning samt hänvisning av ej akuta ärenden till dagtid.
