Description
Region Kalmar län har idag investerat i ett stort regionsövergripande sammankopplat patientövervakningssystem från Philips. Region Kalmar Län har Phillips patientövervakningssystem installerat vid sjukhusen i Kalmar, Oskarshamn och delar av Västervik. Regionen ser stora samordningsfördelar bland annat enklare förvaltning (IT och MTA), samma arbetsflöden/integrationer och användarmässigt (personalen behöver bara lära sig ett system = patientsäkert). Varorna och support- och servicetjänsterna kan endast tillhandahållas av en viss leverantör och av tekniska skäl finns därför ingen konkurrens, en byte av leverantör skulle medföra att Region Kalmar län skulle tvingas anskaffas varor som är tekniskt oförenliga med nuvarande inriktning och system. Behovet avser produkter för uppgradering och utbyggnad av redan installerad infrastruktur samt där tillhörande service och support.
