Voluntary ex-ante transparency notice VEAT NOTICE UCC reference number UCC-VEAT-2025-03 Short Description The School of Chemistry at University College Cork (UCC) is seeking to procure a benchtop portable Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) system with a 90MHz field strength, very high sensitivity, narrow resolution and capable of multiple nuclei measurement without loss of sensitivity to support ongoing and future research activities. The system will be used in both teaching and research applications. Technical Reasons for Award without Prior Publication: As per Article 32 of EU Directive 2014-24, University College Cork wishes to avail of the negotiated procedure without prior publication because competition is absent for technical reasons. While it is acknowledged that NMR Systems can be acquired from various vendors, Magritek GmbH system, SPINSOLVE 90 Multi-X ULTRA is the only benchtop system that with the combination of the following specifications.
