Description
Up until and including 2022, Gravplassetaten deposited surplus matter from coffin excavations in separate areas - primarily Engebråten and Klemetsrud in Oslo. These locations are provisionally closed for this type of deposit. From and including 2023, it has been decided that surplus matter will be deposited at external, suitable locations. Soil analysis suggests that the excess mass is easily polluted, 2-3, which requires legal land-disposal. The agency needs to transport the mentioned surplus matter to a suitable landfill site.
