Luleå Energi Elnät AB avser under 2026-2028 bygga ny station som utförs med 2st transformatorer/oljegropar inomhus, 40 kV gasisolerat ställverk (GIS) samt 10 kV ställverk, hjälpkraft och kontrollanläggning.
