Description
Norrtälje kommun saknar idag tillräckligt detaljerad information om variationer i trafikflöden över året, hur trafikmönstren utvecklas över tid samt hur trafikflöden påverkas av olika typer av störningar, exempelvis vägarbeten, avstängningar av gator och vägar samt större evenemang. Syftet med upphandlingen är att etablera fasta mätpunkter utmed det kommunala vägnätet för kontinuerlig insamling av trafikdata. Genom dessa mätpunkter ges kommunen möjlighet att löpande följa trafikflöden, analysera belastningen på det kommunala vägnätet samt identifiera såväl kapacitetsbrister och variationer. Underlaget ska bidra till förbättrad trafikplanering, uppföljning och långsiktig utveckling av vägnätet.
