Description
TII intends to enter into a Single and Multi-lot Agreement for Construction works on the Luas light Rail system. The Single supplier who is deemed the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) (first ranked tenderer) in the initial competition, will be appointed to Lot 1, with Lot 2 tenderers ranked second to fourth place in the initial framework tender competition using the MEAT criteria. This framework, when established, will be available to TII to draw down from it on a Call-Off Contract basis. The Call-Off Contracts, when issued, will typically be for the purposes of carrying out the following activities: 1. Developing a detailed construction methodology associated with building or civil works, with the objective of improving the Luas system 2. Developing a detailed design to align with the construction activities 3. Developing the specific programme of works, 4. Developing the Traffic Management design and conducting road safety audits – to be approved by the relevant Local Authority, TII and the Luas Operator, 5.
