Den 22 maj 2024 tecknades avtal mellan kommunkoncernen Södertälje org.nr 556770–1437 och Stratsys AB org.nr 556586–9848 avseende systemstöd för planering och uppföljning. I upphandlingen som genomfördes och vid avtalet tecknande omfattades inte systemstöd för att möta upp behovet av risk- och sårbarhetsanalyser (RSA) och kontinuitetshantering, informationssäkerhet och dataskydd (GDPR). För att säkerställa ett systematiskt informationssäkerhetsarbete inom Södertälje kommunkoncern behövs systemstöd inom områdena informationssäkerhet, dataskydd, kontinuitetshantering samt risk och sårbarhetsanalys. Systematiskt informationssäkerhetsarbete behövs för att möta krav från gällande och framtida lagstiftning inom området, inte minst den kommande Cybersäkerhetslagen. Systemstödet möjliggör ett Ledningssystem för Informationssäkerhet (LIS). Detta är avgörande för att skydda personuppgifter och information, säkerställa efterlevnad, förbättra säkerheten, bygga förtroende och hantera incidenter effektivt.
