Description
Sandnes Municipal Council has decided to introduce the Sandnes card of NOK 1,000 per year for all pupils from 1st to and including 10th grade. These funds shall be used for both paying cultural events, experiences in the municipality and for organised and self-organised leisure activities. As a starting point, it is the pupils' guardians who shall manage over these means, but it is also assumed that the older pupils shall be able to manage the resources themselves (then as regards the purchase of tickets for individual events), without this being finally decided at the present time. Sandnes has approx. 10,700 pupils in the target group for this new scheme. The municipality needs a secure, digital system, a digital platform, for handing out money for both individual events and subscriptions etc. The digital platform must have a secure system for different transactions, and guardians shall be able to enter and pay from their 'account' to membership fees, training licences, tickets to culture/leisure activities, etc. There is a need for a system where the inhabitants extract funds before the expenses for their activities and do not have to advance and be reimbursed afterwards.
