Description
General description: TenneT has an insurance program (“Offshore Liability Policy”) in place covering third party liabilities of TenneT Offshore GmbH & TenneT TSO B.V. and its subsidiaries against personal injury, property damage and financial loss. TenneT intends to procure insurance cover personal injury, property damage and financial loss with a new Offshore Liability Policy (policy inception date 1st July 2025). The GL Offshore Program (General Liability Offshore) includes: - Offshore third party liability insurance for all current (in operation phase) and future German and Dutch offshore grid connection systems as currently insured in the Offshore Liability policy - Liability from operating NorNed, Cobra, NordLink and possible future interconnectors are insured under the Onshore liability insurance. The insurance program shall cover a capacity of EUR 250m and will be structured in a Primary policy (40 Mio. EUR per loss and 80 Mio. EUR in the annual aggregate) and an 1. additional Excess layer (30 Mio. EUR) and an 2. additional Excess layer (40 Mio. EUR).
