Description

The subject of the tender is the procurement of services for the creation of a digital database containing typologies and architectural/construction details of traditional/historical buildings. The digital database is expected to include building typologies for both exceptional and typical examples from various regions of the island, as well as standard, authentic, and new construction details along with their local variations. The ultimate goal of this initiative is to provide informational material through the digital database, both to the general public for informational and educational purposes and to professionals as reference models for developing restoration proposals for architectural heritage buildings. It is noted that this material will be based on Building Information Models (BIM), which provide a comprehensive digital representation of the physical and functional characteristics of an infrastructure.
