Description
The Multi-annual Implementation Plan (MIP) puts Civil Society (CS) at the centre of the collaboration with South Africa (SA). The programme “Civil Society -Capacity Enhancement, Dialogue and Recovery (CEDAR)” will support the European Union (EU) Roadmap (RM) for engagement with CS (CS RM), the EU Human Rights and Democracy Strategy for South Africa and the Gender Action Plan (GAP) III Country Level Implementation Plan (CLIP), and facilitate and support CS engagement in programmes in all three MIP priority areas. The Technical Assistance (TA) facility will allow a flexible response to the needs and demands of CS and assist with the operationalisation of the EU commitments to promote an enabling environment, foster policy inclusion/dialogue and develop Civil Society Organisations’ (CSOs’) capacity across all its dimensions.
