Description

The contract will fill some severe knowledge gaps identified in the impact of 2040 climate targets and thereby be a direct contribution to the Green Deal’s call for increasing synergies between climate and biodiversity actions. Specifically, it will 1) better integrate the impacts of climate change and of natural disturbances impacts (e.g. forest fires) on biodiversity, in models used to design climate, energy and land policies and 2) ensure that the scenarios used in biodiversity impact assessment (e.g. BIOCLIMA) are better aligned with the scenarios of climate impact assessments (e.g. CAPRI). This contract is part of ENV Management Plan 2024
