Description

The Marine Institute invites tenders to this request for tenders from economic operators for the provision of the following services: The supply of shellfish fisheries and survey data. This will involve scientific observers working at sea on commercial fishing vessels fishing for shellfish (crustaceans, bivalves, whelks) during normal fishing operations and separately on surveys to collect data on fishing location, catch, effort and by-catch on vessels fishing for shellfish. In Lot 2 services are also required for data compilation and management, processing of samples in the laboratory or in the field and participation on a number of Marine Institute projects and trials. This public procurement competition will be divided into 2 Lots. Each Lot will result in a separate contract.
