Description
De TU Delft heeft in het belang van haar studenten behoefte aan een toereikende laagdrempelige multidisciplinaire eerstelijnszorgverlening met specifieke expertise voor de doelgroep binnen de Gemeente Delft en in de nabijheid van de TU Delft Campus. Deze vorm van studentengezondheidszorg levert een belangrijke bijdrage aan het welzijn van de (nationale en internationale) studenten en zijn/haar studie aan de TU Delft, in die zin dat studievoortgang en de studieresultaten in voorkomende gevallen worden bezien in de context van hun lichamelijk en geestelijk welzijn. Daarnaast bestaat er bij de TU Delft behoefte aan advies en voorlichting ten aanzien van het algemene gezondheidsbelang van de studentpopulatie inclusief de studentenverenigingen.
