Description
Stavanger municipality shall install solar energy installations in several of its buildings in the future. This competition concerns flat roofs that would be installed outside solar installations (BAPV) as well as adding new roofing felt/foil and possibly replacing insulation due to, for example, the need for greater pressure strength where solar energy shall be located. 366 municipal buildings have been mapped for production possibilities. 25% of the buildings have an IRR of more than 4% per March 2023. It is anticipated that several of the buildings have come across this value as the storm surge has increased considerably. Initially a mounting is planned on a sloping roof and flat roof.
