Sjöfartsverket har en marinteknisk verkstad i Norrköping som utför underhållsarbeten och nyproduktion av smide till olika verksamhetsområden, såsom fyrar, sjömärken och lotsbåtar. Smidet tillverkas oftast i svartstål, aluminium och rostfritt. Sjöfartsverket ser nu ett behov av att teckna ett ramavtal för att kunna avlasta den marintekniska avdelningen.
