Description
The Core Facility at the Medical Faculty, Linköping University, is a research infrastructure and consists of several platforms that provide a cost-effective access to advanced instrumentation, training, consulting, and qualified specialized services. The Microscopy Unit within Core Facility, now intends to upgrade the unit with a new, high-resolution Slide Scanner for brightfield and fluorescence.
Award criteria
- Quality — The system should have an apochromatic 60 - 63x objective with a numerical aperture (NA) and free working distance equal to or greater than 1.4 and 0.18 mm, respectively.
- Quality — The System should offer an automatic immersion application.
- Quality — The System should have the ability to manually edit focus points.
- Quality — The software should have the ability of using pre-defined scanner acquisition settings for a variety of standard fluorescent dyes and their combinations
- Quality — The software should have the option to deblur scanner acquisitions.
