Maksu- ja Tolliametis on kasutusel SAS Institute Oy poolt müüdav tarkvara andmete ettevalmistamiseks ja töötlemiseks. Kuna vaja on olemasoleva tootega seotud funktsionaalsust laiendada ning ühtlasi lahendada ka tehnoloogiline võlg, tuleb selleks paigaldada SAS Institute Oy poolt müüdava tarkvarapaketi uued versioonid, mis vajavad uusi litsentse.
