Description
For the purpose of clarification, Kildare County Council are establishing a 3 year framework with the only commitment given for a one year contract for St. Brigid’s Festival 2025. Following on from the success of previous festivals, the vision for St. Brigid's Festival 2025 is to grow a vibrant and inclusive festival for the local community and county, driving visitors and raising international profile while celebrating the many strands of Brigid, Kildare and Ireland. St. Brigid's Festival 2025 will be designed to have an increasing appeal for both international and domestic visitors. The programme should be diverse and have wide appeal across both demographic profile and age groups. The festival must have a mix of contemporary and traditional events in various locations, covering the 5 Municipal Districts in County Kildare. The programme must include spectacular community experiences in keeping with the stands of Brigid, such as biodiversity and sustainability, arts and culture, social justice, spirituality, peace, female leadership, hospitality and education.
