Description

Bus Átha Cliath has an ongoing need for the supply and maintenance of robust workwear for craftworkers and support staff in the engineering department. It is intended that BÁC will undertake a procurement competition to appoint a provider to undertake this requirement using a Framework Agreement This agreement will include the supply of flame retardant workwear – the successful Tenderer will provide options to staff will include coveralls, work jackets, work trousers and bib and brace style trousers. BÁC has outlined in the specifications the required EN Standards to which the workwear must conform. Tenderers will be required to provide evidence as part of their Tender submission to verify through independent certificates, test reports and other data that their product offering meets these minimum requirements. Items will be appropriately CE marked, be supplied with relevant User Information on initial delivery, and the CE labels will remain legible for the duration of the product life. Each member of staff will issued 5 x sets of workwear (e.g. 5 x coveralls OR 5 x trousers and 5 x jackets OR a combination) which will require a comprehensive laundry service.
