Description
In accordance with Goal 8 of the Department of Transport’s National Sustainable Mobility Policy, the Authority wishes to undertake a National Household Travel Survey (NHTS) of 4,000 households throughout the Republic of Ireland between September 2024 and early December 2024. The purpose of the survey is to gather travel information statistics for the Authority’s ongoing transportation planning role, as well as to provide essential travel data for the update of its regional transport models, the development of additional transport modelling tools and monitoring and research on travel and transport. The Scope of Services will – at a high level – require the successful Tenderer to carry out the following tasks: • Review survey and research design; • Prepare and execute a Communications Plan; • Conduct a pilot survey using mixed sampling methods; • Develop and document the NHTS 2024 methodology; • Administer survey instruments and collect data; • Data processing, analysis, and quality control; • Produce and deliver interim data files; • Produce and deliver various monitoring reports and technical notes; • Prepare data weightings; • Produce and deliver final data files; • Create interim…
