Description

This is a prior information notice (PIN) in relation to an upcoming Call for Tender. The objective of this CfT is to invite proposals from suitably qualified services providers for the provision of the design and development of an online monitoring system to capture the usage of key consenting processes in relation to renewable energy projects, given the current legislation under Renewable Energy Directive III (REDIII). This public procurement competition will be divided into two 2 (two) lots. Each Lot will result in a separate contract. Lot 1 is for the following: a scoping exercise to outline the requirements for the Single Point of Contact online Monitoring System working across multiple stakeholders. Lot 2 is for the following: the design and building of an online monitoring system that captures key data on the usage of planning and grid consenting processes in relation to renewable energy projects in Ireland. This system must enable SEAI to report on relevant sections of Article 16 - RED III, with regard to consenting timeframes.
