Gegenstand der Ausschreibung sind Bahnstromlieferverträge von 100% grünem Strom aus Windenergie, mit einer Frequenz von 16,7 Hz (Bahnstrom). Die ausgeschriebene Gesamtenergiemenge beträgt 150 GWh pro Jahr, wobei diese Menge auf bis zu sieben Lose verteilt wird.
