Το αντικείμενο της σύμβασης είναι η «ΠΡΟΜΗΘΕΙΑ, ΕΓΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΗ ΚΑΙ ΘΕΣΗ ΣΕ ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΑ ΣΥΣΤΗΜΑΤΟΣ ΤΗΛΕΕΛΕΓΧΟΥ-ΤΗΛΕΧΕΙΡΙΣΜΟΥ ΚΑΙ ΜΕΙΩΣΗΣ ΔΙΑΡΡΟΩΝ ΤΟΥ ΣΥΣΤΗΜΑΤΟΣ ΥΔΡΕΥΣΗΣ ΤΟΥ ΔΗΜΟΥ ΙΘΑΚΗΣ». Στόχος του συστήματος είναι η συνεχής παρακολούθηση και επίβλεψη σημαντικών παραμέτρων της λειτουργίας του συστήματος ύδρευσης (παροχή, πίεση, καταναλώσεις, διαχείριση ενέργειας, κ.λ.π.), η συλλογή και αποθήκευση των σχετικών δεδομένων και η εκτέλεση χειρισμών για τον έλεγχο των ενεργών στοιχείων του συστήματος ύδρευσης. Το αντικείμενο της Σύμβασης το οποίο περιγράφεται αναλυτικά στο τεύχος των τεχνικών Προδιαγραφών και τα λοιπά συμβατικά τεύχη.
