Description

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) relates to the establishment of a Framework of Integrated Design Teams (IDTs) to support the delivery of school building projects under Project Ireland 2040. The framework will operate for a new programme called ‘ADAPT4 -Programme Innovate’ which is one of the Department of Education Planning & Building Unit’s next delivery streams for school capital projects that are anticipated to be delivered over the next 5-7 years. The programme’s vision is to create schools that support an inclusive and inspiring learning environment using sustainable design and construction approaches. The Department will be seeking multidisciplinary consultants to join together to form Integrated Design Teams (IDT’s) to establish a Framework of IDT`s from which future tender competitions will be conducted to appoint an Integrated Design team (IDT) to a number of school lots. Each lot will consist of a number of schools and include large phased campus projects (multiple schools on a single site).
