Description
At the Costume Warehouse at the Norwegian Opera & Ballet, costumes/costume elements/fabrics for opera and ballet performances are partially stored in our internal warehouse and at our external store at Karihaugen. Today this is stored in cardboard and plastic boxes. The need is to replace the cardboard boxes for plastic boxes with closure mechanism. This is so that it is easier to see what is in the boxes and to eliminate the problem of any moths and harmful insects. Another aspect is shelf life and reuse. We find that the cardboard boxes are worn as they are transported between Karihaugen and Bjørvika when productions come in replays. The size of the boxes is also important for them to fit into the existing shelf system.
